Welcome to the Swindon Skills Strategy Resident and Stakeholder Engagement Pages.
Residents and stakeholders are invited to help shape the Swindon Skills Strategy, which aims to ensure residents have the right skills to succeed in life and in work and ensure our businesses have the right skills to thrive.
As part of the Fairer Swindon mission, these sessions offer the chance to share ideas on how Swindon residents can access employment, lifelong learning and training, skills development and career progression. Also, how we can help businesses meet workforce skills needs to thrive and grow.
During April and May 2025, we will be inviting stakeholders and residents to contribute to the development of the strategy through events and a short survey.
The events available are listed to the right.

As a Council we want to find out what Swindon residents think are the key priorities for a Skills Strategy and gain some feedback on current skills training courses and access to employment so that residents have the right skills to succeed in life.
We want to ensure residents can access the right training, can get advice on careers and career progression, and know how to succeed in applying for jobs and going for interviews.
The Survey is short and should take no longer than 10 minutes.
