Thank you for visiting this web page, which aims to gather residents’ views on the Borough’s local open spaces including parks and gardens, sports facilities, spaces for nature, play spaces, allotments and community gardens.
Purpose
The survey will compile an evidence base that will aid and inform policies to enhance open spaces within the Council's new Local Plan.
Survey Duration
The survey will be open for three weeks and will enable local residents, community groups and key organisations with an interest in Swindon to respond.
The survey will close on: 09/05/2025
How can you get involved?

2. Contribute to the online Map below
The map provides an opportunity to identify specific open spaces you use, provide comments, answer questions and upload images.
If you would like to view a copy of the Council’s Local Plan, you can download it from the documents section on the right of this page.
What happens next?
After the survey has closed we will read all the comments and review the feedback provided.
All feedback will be collated and considered as part of the Open Space audit report, used to inform policy within the new Local Plan.
