Creating more opportunities to listen to, engage and involve residents is one of the Council’s commitments in the Swindon Plan finalised in the summer.

Across January and into February 2024 we ran a borough-wide engagement exercise called ‘Let’s talk Swindon’ to get residents’ feedback on our plans to make a positive difference to Swindon.

Following a great response to our 2024 Swindon resident survey (over 4,400 replies), we organised new ‘Let’s talk Swindon’ resident events throughout November 2024 to share the results and ask for residents thoughts on how we should inform local services and priorities.
