Let's talk Swindon

Local people will have another chance to meet and talk with council officers and Members at upcoming engagement events this autumn.

We are hosting further ‘Let’s talk Swindon’ resident engagement events on Saturday, 4 October and Wednesday 8, October at the Civic Offices. The events will provide an update on progress against the Swindon Plan and the organisation’s aims to deliver a better, fairer and greener Swindon.

Following several similar sessions over the past two years, the Saturday event will run between 11.00am and 4.30pm and will be divided into three 90-minute sessions. The event on Wednesday will be a one, 90-minute session from 6.30pm to 8.00pm. Residents can choose the most suitable time.

The events will feature messages from Council Leader, Councillor Jim Robbins, and the Council’s Chief Executive, Sam Mowbray. There will also be opportunities to meet council officers, learn about their work, and ask questions.

This is a further chance for local residents to shape future Council services
